In accordance with the Work Plan of the Army General Staff, today at the “Chede Filipovski – Dame” Barracks in Kichevo, the annual briefing on combat readiness was held. Commanders of the subordinate commands and units of the Army General Staff briefed the Chief of the Army General Staff, Major General Sashko Lachiski.
Commanders of the subordinate commands and units of the Army General Staff presented the status of the following areas: personnel, training, exercises, equipping, infrastructure, military planning, force structure, modernization and equipping, operations, as well as budgeting and financing.
In addition, the Army’s engagements during crisis situations were presented, along with the positive achievements in 2025 and their impact on combat readiness.
At the end of the briefing, General Lafchiski presented his conclusions based on the information provided and issued guidelines for further enhancement of combat readiness.
As part of today’s activities, General Lafchiski also signed the Rules for the “Boran 105 mm Howitzer”, which contain provisions describing the howitzer, the duties and procedures of the personnel operating it, as well as the maintenance of the weapon.
