As part of the planned activities to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the formation of the Army throughout the whole year, the Military Orchestra of the Army of Republic of North Macedonia held a one-hour evening concert in the Army House on 11th October, the National Uprising Day.
Members of the Military Orchestra of the Republic of Albania also performed in the concert. In addition, the pipe player, Bajsa Arifovska, and the solo singers Svetlana Jovanovska and Dejan Nikolovski, as well as music performers from renown national music institutions, and solo music performers performed as guests in the concert.
The concert repertoire, which was performed under the slogan of the anniversary of Security, Stability, and Trust, included Macedonian evergreen songs, along with compositions of world renown authors, such as Luciano Feliciani, Richard Straus, and Gustav Holst.
The Chief of General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski, and the Deputy Minister of Defence, Bashkim Hasani, as well as other officials of the GS and the MOD, members of the Commands and Units of the Army, the Vice President of the Assembly, Goran Misovski, representatives of the Assembly and the Government of Republic of North Macedonia, representatives of the Embassies and military attaches, along with other guests attended the concert.
The concert represented the final activity of the 30th Anniversary celebration of the formation of the Army of Republic of North Macedonia. Furthermore, it promoted our cooperation with the ally armies and national institutions.
The concert also marked the end of the exhibition on the 30 Year Army development, which was displayed for the public in the lounge of the concert hall of the Army House.
