Today in Ohrid, the Army Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski, and the Defence Minister Slavjanka Petrovska, gave recognition to the members of the Special Forces Battalion for the training level shown at the demonstration exercise as part of the combined training in the field of special forces operations on water surfaces.
General Gjurchinovski and Minister Petrovska expressed words of praise for the training shown, acknowledging the professionalism and commitment to the successful realization of the activities in accordance with the training plan of the Special Forces Battalion. In doing so, they emphasized the importance of continuous dynamic training that contributes to improving interoperability in the field of special forces between NATO allied armies.
The presented activities are part of the program for the day for senior visitors within the framework of the training for special forces and the implementation of experiences gained from the joint training with the special forces of NATO Armies within the program “Joint Combined Exchange Training – JCET”.
During the training activities carried out in the water training camp in Ohrid, the members of the Special Forces Battalion carried out several water activities, including diving and special tasks on water surfaces that enable the improvement of training and interoperability in the implementation of the essential tasks of the special force domain.
