As part of the planned activities for visiting and briefing commands and units, the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Sashko Lafchiski, visited the service personnel of the Special Forces Battalion, the Military Police Battalion, and the Honour Guard Battalion stationed in the “Ilinden” barracks in Skopje, as well as the Army personnel stationed in the “Kuzman Josifovski Pitu” barracks in Tetovo last week.
In his address, General Lafchiski briefed the service personnel on the current situation in the Army, the Army’s participation in supporting civilian institutions, as well as regional and bilateral cooperation.
Additionally, the General emphasized the key values that should define the Army personnel, highlighting the sense of belonging to the Army, discipline, and the code of honour, which should serve as a guiding principle not only in the Army but also in private life.
The Chief of the General Staff will continue touring commands and units in the coming period, visiting the remaining commands and units.
