Today, the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Sashko Lafchiski visited the units located in the barracks “Kuzman Josifovski Pitu” in Tetovo and “Chede Filipovski Dame” in Kichevo, as part of the planned activities for visiting the garrisons and informing the members of the Army.
During the visit, the Army service personnel who perform regular tasks in the units of the garrisons in Kichevo and Tetovo were informed by General Lafchiski about the current and possible engagement in the international operations led by NATO, the EU and the UN, the previous and future participation in exercises and the process of modernization of the Army.
At today’s briefing, among other things, they discussed the implementation of the obligations from the Collective Agreement and the living and working conditions, with the aim of raising the standard of the Army service personnel, as well as the priorities and expectations for the next year.
