The Chief of General Staff of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia, Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski, had a protocol meeting with the newly appointed non-resident Defence Attaché of Hungary to the Republic of Macedonia, Lieutenant Colonel László Hajas.
General Velichkovski wished Lieutenant Colonel László Hajas success in his duty, and continuation of bilateral co-operation in the field of defence between the ARM and the Hungarian Defence Forces.
During the meeting, the ARM Chief of General Staff expressed appreciation for the support in the efforts of the Republic of Macedonia to deal with the migration crisis and our aspirations for full membership in NATO.
It was discussed about the possibilities for mutual use of the training capacities, as well as exchange of experiences and deepening the cooperation concerning the helicopter units.
