At the NATO Medal awarding ceremony, members of the 7th rotation from the Macedonian contingent in TAAC – Capital Kabul, were decorated the NATO Medal for participating in the Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan.
The NATO Medal for service in missions has been awarded since 1995 to military and civilian personnel cooperating with the NATO alliance and for contributing to military missions, operations and in crisis areas round the world.
The NATO Medal for partaking in military missions was awarded to our members by the Commander of TAAC – Capital Kabul, Brigadier General Tajar Ajdin.
The security mission ‘ISAF’ in Afghanistan was completed on December, 31st 2014, and the NATO Medal for participating in the Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan began to be awarded on January, 1st 2015.
