Today, the Chief of the Army’s General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski, addressed the students of post-graduate studies for the Command and Staff Specialization Studies. He talked at the Military Academy “General Mihailo Apostolski” to mark the beginning of this academic year.
The General addressed the officers of the Army who will attend the Command and Staff Specialization Studies in this academic year wishing them success. In addition, he recommended dedicating themselves to their studies in order to enhance their knowledge and skills gained during their service in the Army. Moreover, he stressed that upon graduation of the specialization studies they will have an opportunity to put the newly acquired skills into use while performing their command and management duties in the Army at their new appointments and in that way they will contribute to the development of the Army.
At the official start of the post-graduate studies, the Dean of the Military Academy, Colonel Professor Dr. Mitko Bogdanovski, also addressed the students, and expressed his gratitude to the General Staff of the Army for their support for having this kind of post-graduate studies, as well as for their professional expertise.
In the academic year of 2023/2024, there are 24 officers, ranging from the rank major to lieutenant colonel, from the commands and units of the Army who are attending these post-graduate studies. After graduation they will have gained the necessary military service specialization required to perform higher command and staff duties.
