Members of the Centre for Electronic Reconnaissance (CER) within the ARM General Staff today at the barracks “Goce Delchev” in Skopje with a military ceremony celebrated November 9th, the Day of this unit.
The ceremony was attended by the Director of the ARM General Staff Major General Dimche Petrovski, Brigadier General Azim Nuredin, representatives of the ARM General Staff, commanders of ARM units and other guests.
General Petrovski emphasized the professionalism with which the members of this unit, under direct supervision of ARM General Staff, have performed their tasks in the recent period.
In his speech, the CER Commander Lieutenant Colonel Marjan Masevski, after a brief historical review, stressed the role of this ARM unit in dealing with contemporary challenges.
Prior to this occasion, a voluntary blood donation and sports games were organized, and during the celebration incentive measures were announced, and badges and certificates of appreciation were awarded.
By decision of the President of the Republic of Macedonia and Supreme Commander of the Armed forces, 9th of November is set as a day of CER, the same date when the branch Electronic Reconnaissance and Counter Electronic Warfare was formed in 1995.
