On the occasion of the celebration of August 2 – Republic Day and the First Session of ASNOM – a delegation led by the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Sashko Lafchiski, laid fresh flowers at the “Makedonium” monument, the monument to the heroes of the “Sliva” site, and the monument to the defenders of the Kruševo Republic at “Mechkin Kamen” in Krushevo.
A delegation led by the Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command, Brigadier General Lulzim Nuredini, took part in the commemoration by laying fresh flowers at the monuments of Nikola Karev, ASNOM, and Metodija Andonov-Chento in Skopje.
At the celebration in Pelince, in front of the monument at the ASNOM Memorial Center, a delegation led by the Commander of the First Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Dejan Chiplakovski, paid respects by laying fresh flowers.
An Army delegation also paid tribute by laying flowers at the memorial sites of the tomb of Dame Gruev, the monument to the Ilinden fighters of Smilevo, the memorial plaque of the “Dame Gruev” Partisan Detachment, and the monument to Dame Gruev in the village of Smilevo.
