Paying tribute to the fallen members of the reserve forces of the Army, who lost their lives at the locality Ljubotenski Bachila, a joint delegation of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Ministry of Defence laid fresh flowers at the memorials of the defenders.
The Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski and the Minister of Defence, Radmila Shekerinska, who led the joint delegation of the General Staff and the Ministry of Defence, laid a wreath of fresh flowers at the commemorative plague of the fallen members of the defence forces at barracks Ilinden.
The 19th anniversary of the death of the eight members of the reserve forces of the Army was commemorated in Ljubanci, Volkovo and Gjorche Petrov, where joint delegations of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Ministry of Defence laid fresh flowers and bowed in their honour in front of their memorials.
On 10th August 2001, at the locality Ljubotenski Bachila, Tome Badarovski, Goce Chankulovski, Branko Janev, Tomislav Nastevski, Marjancho Boshkovski, Ivica Zlatevski, Tome Dimovski and Rade Jankovski lost their lives when their military transportation vehicle was destroyed by a land mine.
