Today (November 26, 2015), high-level delegation of the Kosovo Security Forces (KSF), led by KSF Commander, LTC General Rahman Rama, who is on an official visit to the ARM was welcomed with military honors in ARM General Staff.
At the meeting in ARM General Staff, in addition to promoting bilateral cooperation in the field of education, ARM experiences of participation in international peacekeeping missions were presented, as well as the NATO Operational Capabilities Concept.
General Velichkovski noted that the cooperation is not declarative but concrete, through participation of KSF members in: exercises in Macedonia, at the summer camp of the training area Krivolak, courses at the Regional Training Centre for Public Affairs and at the Military Medical Center. This cooperation continues in the form of expertise, experience exchange and assistance for the future transformation of KSF.
General Rama in his statement expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation, with the hope that it will continue, using the experience of ARM acquired in international peacekeeping operations.
Visiting the General Staff, the delegation also met with Deputy Defence Minister Iljmi Selami.
In addition, the delegation visited the Military Academy, at which currently 11 representatives from KSF are cadets.
The official visit was rounded off with the introduction of the capacities and possibilities for training at the Pilot Training Center within the barracks “Strasho Pindzur” in Petrovec.
