Chief of staff of ARM Lieutenant General Gorancho Koteski is on a official two days visit of the Republic of Lithuania Armed Forces. His host during the visit is CGS of the Republic of Lithuania Armed Forces Lieutenant General Arvidas Pocius. This is a first official visit of CGS of ARM to the CGS of the Republic of Lithuania Armed Forces.
Today, the bilateral cooperation, transformation experience and experience in participation in Peace Support Operations as well as the possibilities of using the training facilities were on the agenda.
During his visit of Vilnius General Koteski met the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Lithuania Jouzas Olekas and he will as well visit the Land Forces Training Regiment and the Mechanized Infantry Brigade “iron wolf”.
It is expected that this visit of the AF of the Republic of Lithuania will contribute to the bilateral cooperation with ARM as well as to support the Republic of Macedonia in becoming a NATO member.
