Today and tomorrow NATO expert team is officially visiting the Regional Medical Training Center (RMTC) which is part of the ARM Military Medical Center (MMC). The aim of the visit is for the NATO alliance representatives to get informed about the structure, capacity, personnel and RMTC curriculum and syllabus. MMC representatives will present NATO team their experiences and lessons learned regarding medical training, exercises and missions ARM servicemen have taken part in.
Another objective of the visit is NATO authorities to be notified about RMTC capacity and abilities, so that the process of NATO accreditation of this center can start and its certification as NATO/PfP center.
RMTC consists of MMC medical training sector which conducts medical training for medical and non-medical personnel in the last ten years. It has a significant role in ARM pre-deployment training for NATO, EU and UN missions. ARM provides training for representatives from the armies of the countries in the region, as well as training for RM state institutions, embassies, civilians, etc.
RMTC has the most sophisticated cabinets, equipment and teaching aids for conducting modern training for life savers, first aid and self aid, pre-deployment training and trainer training. The team that conducts the training consists of instructors certified by the Swiss Medical Training Center.
