ARM members are actively involved in clearing the ground after the disastrous flood that swept Skopje region at the weekend. Soldiers help in clearing yards, streets, and with the delivery of the necessary items to the most affected areas.
Dealing with the consequences of the storm ARM is constantly on the ground in the most affected areas. The soldiers are continuously available to help those affected by the floods, in all places where it appears to be necessary.
Tactical Operation Center of ARM that acts as a coordinating center to engage the necessary resources and personnel in accordance with the requirements is set. It also functions for mutual coordination among the parties involved in the restoration of households hit by the catastrophic flood.
Military Police in cooperation with the MOI regulates the traffic in the region of Stajkovci. They also actively help to regulate the movement of machinery and motor vehicles engaged in eliminating the consequences of floods.
Meanwhile KFOR convoy with engineering machines designed to aid in the affected areas arrived. In coordination with ARM the mechanization is actively involved in clearing the streets of sediment from the floods. Engineer machines given by KFOR are due to mutual cooperation and the needs expressed by ARM.
ARM NBC units started disinfecting the houses and yards in order to prevent spreading of infectious diseases.
Female members of ARM are equally involved in clearing deposits of mud and waste from houses and yards, traffic regulation, depletion of water, disinfection and all other activities.
In Tetovo region that was also hit by the storm ARM team is assigned to remove the rock that hangs over the Tetovo village of Sipkovica.
