The first annual conference for ARM training and exercises was held according to the annual training plan. At the conference opening ceremony, the Chief of Training and Exercise section J-7 of ARM pointed out the importance of accurate planning of training and exercise. At the conference, the subordinate commands and units of GS of ARM presented their financial demands for successful conducting of their training.
Colonel Zoran Dodevski, Chief of Training and Exercise section J-7 of ARM chaired the conference. Other participants included representatives of GS of ARM, Chiefs of Training and Exercise sections of the subordinate commands and units (J/G/A/S-7) up to battalion level and the Command Sergeant Major of ARM.
The subordinate commands and units presented their financial demands for individual and collective training, for conducting exercises in 2019 and other additional projects and activities connected to their goals. One of the priorities of the conference was stating the operational demands and necessary artifacts to support their training.
At the end of the conference, a few resolutions were brought forward, tasks for the following training process were assigned, and directions for improving the ARM training management were given.
The Conference for ARM training is conducted twice a year. In March, it is about planning and scheduling of training activities, and in November, it is about budgeting training activities in the following year.
