The Chief of the ARM GS, Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski had a meeting with Major General Ian Cave, Deputy Chief of Staff – Plans, at the Joint Force Command of NATO, Naples, who is in a two-day visit of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of the Republic of Macedonia.
At the meeting, conclusions were reached that the cooperation between the JFC of NATO and the ARM is at a high level, which is confirmed by the participation of the NATO teams in the evaluation of the declared units of the ARM on the occasion of their deployment in the NATO led missions, and the support the mobile training teams of the Joint Force Command of NATO in Naples provide during the training process.
Within the framework of today’s visit, Major-General Ian Cave visited the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade (1mibr) and the Pilot Training Centre, where a demonstration was given for the Middle Infantry Battalion Group, a declared unit of the ARM, evaluated according to the Concept for Operational Capabilities.
