The Deputy Chief of General Staff, General Major Azim Nuredin met the Brigade General Umit Jildiz today, who heads the military delegation of the armed forces of Republic of Turkey in order to plan the bilateral military cooperation and the future activities. The Generals Nuredin and Jildiz talked about the excellent continuous cooperation and support, which we receive by the armed forces of Republic of Turkey as our strategic partner.
The delegation of the armed forces of Republic of Turkey and the service personnel of the General Staff and the Ministry of Defence participating in the official meeting looked into the bilateral plan of activities for 2020 in multiple areas, mostly in the area of military education, logistics and equipment.
The military cooperation with the armed forces of Republic of Turkey is on a permanent high level in multiple areas, and in the peace mission Decisive Strike in Afghanistan, staff sergeants of our Army perform tasks of the Regional Training Command for Counseling and Assistance of the capital city headed by the Turkish armed forces.
