As part of the 2018 bilateral cooperation programme, a delegation from the French General Directorate for Armament visits the Republic of Macedonia from 25th to 27th July.
Yesterday, during their visit to the ARM General Staff, a delegation led by the French Ambassador to Macedonia, H.E. Christian Thimonier and the resident Defence Attaché Jean-Mark Lavallee, had a meeting with the Deputy Chief of General Staff (DCGS) of ARM, Major General Azim Nuredini and also with representatives of the MoD and ARM General Staff.
At the meeting the French delegation presented the capacities of the French military industry, and they put forward opinions and positive ideas on possible cooperation with Macedonian MoD in accordance with the needs and priorities of ARM.
In the course of their stay the delegation will visit Macedonian companies for applied technology ‘Eurokompozit’ and ‘Mikrosam’ in Prilep, when they will share experiences in the area of military industry as well as possible cooperation between French and Macedonian companies.
