Today, 31st October, the Minister of Defense, Zoran Jolevski and the Chief of the GS of the ARM, Lieutenant General Gorancho Koteski had a meeting with the ARM medical team which is going to take part in the 17th rotation of the ALTEA mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the following six months.
Minister Jolevski expressed his satisfaction with the hitherto assignments of the ARM medical team in the ALTEA mission, emphasizing his expectations from the 17th rotation of the ARM in the ALTEA mission, to continue the successful representation of the ARM and flawless execution of the tasks.
General Koteski pointed out that in the past years the ARM medical team had presented the capabilities and the interoperability of the ARM within the scope of the EU mission at its best, but also hugely contributed to the affirmation of the ARM and the Republic of Macedonia.
During the meeting, Minister Jolevski and General Koteski were introduced with the assignment and the tasks of the team in the ALTEA mission.
The ARM medical team is to be led by Captain Dejana Shvraka, and consists of 10 people, professional medical and auxiliary personnel, whose task in the ALTEA mission is to provide general medical care for the needs of the EUFOR forces accommodated at the Butmir camp near Saraevo.
On the occasion of the departure of the 17th rotation of the ARM to the ALTEA mission, an appropriate ceremony is to be held today, in front of the command building of the Logistic Support Brigade of the ARM.
