Today, October 24 (Thursday), the ARM Chief of General Staff, LTC General Gorancho Koteski, met the KFOR Chief of General Staff, Brigadier General David Aycock. At the meeting gratification was expressed regarding ARM cooperation with KFOR forces, particularly concerning the support of this mission to NATO, for which the Coordinative Centre for Host Country Support has been functioning within ARM in the past years.
During his stay at the ARM General Staff General Aycock had an official meeting with the ARM Director of General Staff, General Major Dimche Petrovski, during which was discussed about promotion of the cooperation among ARM, KFOR and the Coordinative Centre for Host Country Support, whose basic mission is direct support of the KFOR mission.
KFOR expressed readiness to promote the cooperation with ARM, and to participate in the realization of projects for support ARM and civilian population infrastructure in the Republic of Macedonia.
The Coordinative Centre for Host Country Support functions within the Logistic Support Brigade, and it has been operational since 2007, with its basic task being giving support to KFOR forces by the host country during their transit through the Republic of Macedonia.
