Chief of Staff of ARM Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski had a formal meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of France in the Republic of Macedonia, HE Kristian Timonie who was accompanied by the French defence attaché Lieutenant Colonel Noel Alexander.
General Velichkovski warmly welcomed the Ambassador and stressed the importance of continuing the bilateral cooperation in the field of defence between the ARM and the Armed Forces of the Republic of France.
Continuing and expanding the opportunities for future better cooperation through new forms in the area of defence but also a possible joint participation in peacekeeping missions led by the UN, was concluded at today’s meeting held at the General Staff.
