Today, 29 October 2015, within the protocol meetings with the diplomatic representatives accredited in the Republic of Macedonia, the Chief of ARM GS, Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski, met with the Russian Federation Ambassador in the Republic of Macedonia, Oleg Shcherbak.
At the meeting, the opportunities and activities that would be included in the Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan for next year which is based on the Annual plan for cooperation were discussed.
General Velichkovski and Ambassador Shcherbak emphasized that defense cooperation is of interest to both countries and in that context, the possibilities of expanding the mutual cooperation in terms of vocational personnel training and other forms of military-technical cooperation are being considered.
The meeting was attended by the defense attaché of the Russian Federation accredited to Macedonia, Navy Captain Evgeny Shitov.
