Deputy Chief of General Staff of the ARM, Major General Azim Nuredin, held a meeting today with the French Ambassador to the Republic of Macedonia, Christian Thimonier and Colonel Fabrice Duda, the newly appointed non-resident Defence Attaché accredited in the Republic of Macedonia.
During the meeting they discussed the possibilities for expending the bilateral cooperation between the ARM and the French Armed Forces, as well as a possible joint participation in the peace operations led by the UN.
During the meeting at the General Staff of the ARM, General Nuredin congratulated Colonel Duda on the newly assigned position and duties which he will be performing from Zagreb, Croatia.
General Nuredin also expressed gratitude to Colonel Jean-Marc Lavallee who was on this position until now.
