In the barracks “Alekso Demnievski – Bauman” in Veles, a ceremony was held on the occasion of giving a solemn oath of the newly recruited professional soldiers, who joined the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia.
The ceremony was attended by: Deputy Minister of Defense, Bashkim Hasani, Deputy Chief of General Staff, Major General Azim Nuredin, representatives of the Office of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Ministry of Defense and Deputy Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command, Colonel Stojanche Todorov.
Deputy Defense Minister Bashkim Hasani congratulated the soldiers who decided to join the Army, an institution in which our citizens have the greatest confidence.
“You are joining an institution that is the most respected, most appreciated, an institution that has built its reputation because it has always and everywhere been the first to help our citizens. This is a fact that could be seen during the current health crises. The trust given to us by the citizens should be a motive to be fully committed to the profession, but it should also be your responsibility with your actions to continue to preserve the reputation of our common family.” – said the Deputy Minister in his address.
The Center for Individual Training Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Viktor Erkic stressed that the main challenge begins after the short period of adjustment, which is to master the basic combat training where all their knowledge will be the basis for their further development as future servicemen of the Army.
In the next period, by taking all the necessary preventive measures for protection from “COVID-19”, the newly recruited professional soldiers from all over our country will face mastering the planned contents of the basic combat training as well as the basic professional-specialist training. The knowledge gained and the effort invested will be further valued and will be one of the key elements for all those who have chosen the military profession.
