Today, in barracks “Alekso Demnievski Bauman” in Veles, 255 Macedonian citizens, out of which 17 women, expressed their commitment to voluntarily serve in the ranks. Addressing the soldiers the deputy minister of defense, Emil Dimitriev, emphasized that the integrity of an individual is defined by keeping the given word.
“I strongly believe that having a highly professional relationship with your instructors as well as being committed when executing your tasks during your training you will meet the required standards which will make you well trained soldiers,” said deputy minister Dimitriev.
In front of the high representatives from the Ministry of Defense, ARM and local community among which CGS deputy Lieutenant General Naser Sejdini, MOD state secretary Sasho Stefanovski, deputy minister said that our army is among the best trained armies in the region and wider and the priority of the soldiers will be to continue maintaining this opinion.
Training and Doctrine commander Colonel Ljupcho Kostovski spoke about the significance of giving a commitment, which has been a tradition not only in military but in other institutions which require loyalty and consistency in carrying out tasks and responsibilities. Committing to fight for freedom and independence of your country is a characteristic of the brave ones, of those who can give their lives, if necessary, for their country” emphasized Colonel Kostovski.
The training of the soldiers who voluntarily serve in the ranks will be realized in a period of three months in the Center for individual training which is part of the Training and Doctrine Command of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia.
