Today, on the occasion of October 11th – People’s Uprising Day, ARM delegation led by the Chief of General Staff of ARM, LTC General Gorancho Koteski, laid a garland of flowers at the monument of Metodija Andonov – Chento in Prilep.
Within the holiday’s ceremonial mark, an exhibition of ARM military instruments, technology and equipment was opened in the centre of Prilep, where the citizens of Prilep and the Republic of Macedonia had the opportunity to get familiarized with the ARM material and technical instruments, military vehicles and weaponry. During the exhibition, martial arts as well as rope descending exercises were presented by the ARM Special Operations Regiment; the army dogs participated in the exercise as well.
To honour the holiday, delegations from Ministry of Defence and General Staff in Skopje laid garlands of flowers at the Partisan cemetery, at the grave of the former President of Macedonia Boris Trajkovski, the former President of Macedonia Kiro Gligorov, and at the grave of General Mihailo Apostolski on the Butel city cemetery, as well as at the monument of Metodija Andonov – Chento and at the monument of the Heroes in the Skopje city centre.
