Traditionally, at the very end of the year, a meeting was held among the ARM Chief of the General Staff, the former ARM Chiefs of the General Staff and retired generals in the Army of the Republic of Macedonia.
At the meeting, the ARM Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski, ARM Deputy Chief of General Staff Major General Muhamet Racaj and the General Staff Director Major General Dimche Petrovski familiarized the retired ARM generals with the current and planned activities, the reform processes, the current state and functioning of the ARM.
The retired generals, who in their active service in the ARM contributed to the construction and the current position of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia, expressed their views and opinions on current issues in the ARM, as well as suggestions related to the functioning of the ARM.
The purpose of this working meeting, which is held traditionally on the eve of the New Year’s holidays, is to inform the retired generals about the processes in the ARM in accomplishing their constitutional function and constructive exchange of opinions.
