A delegation from the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia, led by the Director of the General Staff, Brigadier General Orce Jordev, attended the ceremonies marking Romania’s National Day. During the visit to Romania, the Army delegation also met with the members of the Macedonian contingent deployed in the NATO Forward Land Forces – FLF.
As part of the activities organized for this occasion, the members of the Macedonian contingent deployed in the NATO FLF took part in the central celebration, the traditional military parade held in Bucharest, as well as in the march-past conducted in Caracal, thereby sending a clear message regarding the cohesion of the Alliance.
The engagement within the FLF activity, in which our Army has participated since 2022, represents an important part of our country’s efforts to support regional and Euro-Atlantic security architecture. The Macedonian personnel, together with the forces of the allies, provide a significant contribution to strengthening collective security, deterrence, and the defense of the Alliance.
