In the period from 27 to 30, January, the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Sashko Lafchiski, participated in the European Strategy Conference, which was held under the organization of the US Armed Forces European Command (USEUCOM) at the Ramstein Air Base, the Federal Republic of Germany.
This year’s conference, organized under the theme “Build, Modernize, Integrate,” was a forum for more than 800 representatives of USEUCOM, the U.S. Department of Defense, NATO allies, partners, and other U.S. government agencies.
At the event, which brought together senior military authorities, the plenary sessions focused on strategic dialogue on security issues in Europe. In addition, security cooperation and state partnership programs were discussed.
This conference is an annual activity, and it provides an opportunity for leaders to express their challenges and discuss how to improve the interoperability and cooperation.
