The Chief of the GS of the ARM, Lieutenant General Gorancho Koteski, is participating in the Military Committee (MC) of NATO Conference today (21st May), in the format of Chiefs of the GSs, which is being held at the NATO command in Brussels.
At the meeting of the army leaders of the NATO member states and the Partnership for Peace, the issues concerning the situation in Afghanistan and the ISAF mission after the elections held in this country will be discussed, also the capacity of the Afghanistan security forces, as well as, the deployment plans in the next phase of ISAF.
During the second phase of the Conference, the participants’ focus will be set on reviewing the development of the Operational plan for the “Resolute support” mission, as a form of NATO engagement in the post-ISAF period.
Within the Conference, it is planned that General Koteski lay a wreath of fresh flowers at the monument in front of the NATO command in Brussels today, and it is also expected that he realizes more meetings on the margins of the Conference.
