The Army Deputy Chief of General Staff (DCHOD), Major General Azim Nuredin, participated at the conference of the European Armies, held for the 28th time in Wiesbaden (Germany) in the period from 15 to 17 June.
The conference is organized by the US Army in Europe and Africa under the command of General Christopher Cavoli, and is attended by top military leaders from NATO countries and partner nations.
This year, discussions led by senior US military leaders, such as Chief of Staff, James McConville and the Commanding General of the United States Army Futures Command, John Murray, focus on topics such as the modernization of ground forces, initiatives, challenges, fiscal challenges, environmental impact, modernization and maintenance readiness, complementarity and field capabilities and other topics.
The purpose of the conference, in addition to discussions on the status and prospects of military cooperation between European ground forces, is to exchange experiences between NATO countries and partners on joint training and other security issues.
