Yesterday, 17th December 2013, the military orchestra of the ARM conducted the New Year’s concert in the Army House in Skopje. Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Goranco Koteski, ARM generals, key personnel from MOD and ARM, representatives from the commands and units of ARM, and Military Attaches appointed in the Republic of Macedonia attended the concert. The military orchestra led by the conductor Lieutenant Colonel Dragan Dimitrov, performed its first concert in front of the full hall of the Army House, prior to New Year and Christmas holidays in honor of MOD and ARM members.
The military orchestra, which is the only professional military brass orchestra in the country, conducted full New Year’s concert, planned to become a tradition, for the first time.
With the New Year’s concert conducted yesterday the military orchestra successfully completed a year of numerous excellent performances throughout many towns in the Republic of Macedonia. The citizens of those towns had a chance to enjoy in famous musical parts and to socialize with ARM members.
This performance of the military orchestra is part of the project for Civilian-Military cooperation, in order to bring ARM closer to the citizens. ARM successfully completed this project in 2013.
