The Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Azim Nuredin is on a three-day visit to the Military Department of the Republic of North Macedonia at the NATO Command in Brussels and the Military Representation at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe in Mons, Belgium.
Within the visit to Brussels, General Nuredin held a working meeting with the ambassador of the Republic of North Macedonia to NATO, Mr. Dane Taleski, met with the representatives of the Military Department of the diplomatic mission at the NATO Command in Brussels. During the meetings, they discussed the current activities of the Military Department as well as current topics related to our participation in NATO activities and operations, as well as other aspects related to the common security policy arising from the conclusions of the meetings of the NATO Military Committee.
During the visit of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe in Mons, Belgium, General Nuredin had a meeting with the Chief of Staff, Admiral Joachim Rühle. During the meeting, the activities under the jurisdiction of the Allied Command of Operations (ACO) and the participation of our personnel in the command were discussed. Our participation in NATO operations and exercises was also discussed.
