Today, 12 November, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Azim Nuredin, at the invitation of the United Kingdom’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Dame Karen Pierce, attended a security and defense event held on the United Kingdom Royal Navy ship “Richmond”, anchored at the Port of Porto Romano in Durrës, Republic of Albania.
The event, which represents a continuation of the successful summit within the framework of the Berlin Process organized by the United Kingdom, brings together representatives of the six Western Balkan countries at the level of Chiefs or Deputy Chiefs of Defense.
The focus of this event is directed towards current topics in the field of security and defense, as well as enhancing cooperation in addressing common challenges.
