On the occasion of – 30 years of the Army, today at the GH ‘8th September’ – Skopje, a voluntary blood donation activity was held, where members of the Logistic Base, as well as part of the subordinate units, donated blood.
During this voluntary blood donation activity, which was organized in cooperation with the Institute for Transfusion Medicine, the Logistic Base members, respecting all Covid-19 measures and protocols, provided 17 blood units for the needs of health institutes.
Apart from their daily duties, members of the Logistic Base stay true to the tradition for voluntary blood donation, showing their humanity in action.
Teams from the Institute for Transfusion Medicine – Skopje and the Red Cross once again expressed their gratitude to the members of the Logistic Base for the blood units they gave.
