In the period from October 31st till November 11th, 2022, the Medical Training Centre within the Battalion for Medical Support (MSBn), together with certified instructors from the Armed Forces of the Swiss Confederation, carried out the “Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support Course”.
The Course was attended by members of several units from the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as members of the Balkan Medical Task Force (BMTF). During the training, the trainees had the opportunity to acquire new skills and techniques in the field of pre-hospital care of the casualties, as well as to unify the skills they used during the course, and they will continue to apply them for the needs of their units.
During the course, the instructors and the students were dedicatedly engaged in performing and practicing the planned topics and contents of the training.
On the final day of the Course, at an appropriate ceremony in the presence of the Deputy Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation in the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Aegerter Lucien, the Course Director Sascha Oberli awarded the participants Certificates of course completion.
