Confirmation of continuous participation of units of the Army of Republic of Macedonia in activities to preserve the environment and landscaping the living space is the action that took place on 12.13.2013 (Friday) at the barracks N.H. “Strasho Pindzur” Petrovec where an action of landscaping and planting evergreen trees of pine and cypress in the barracks area.
The activity was supported by all units that are situated at the barracks like: First Mechanized Infantry Brigade, Air Force Brigade and third battalion from the Logistic Brigade. The activity was opened by the commanders of the first mechanized infantry brigade Brigadier General Pavle Arsoski and the Air Force brigade Colonel Kire Kolevski, on the spot were the HQ personel of the Brigades and the commanders of subordinate units of Air Force Brigade and the entire staff of the Command of the First Mechanized Infantry Brigade.
At the arranging activity were planted more than one hundred trees with a plan that number continuously to increase until complete landscaping and greening the entire surface of the barracks.
