On 3 May 2026, an Army delegation led by Brigadier General Dejan Chiplakovski, together with representatives of the Second Infantry Battalion (2nd IBn), laid fresh flowers at the Defenders’ Memorial in Shtip.
In honour of the fallen defenders Dimitar Dvojakovski and Vlatko Petrov of the 2nd IBn, who bravely gave their lives during the 2001 conflict, fresh flowers were also laid by representatives of the local self-government, as well as members of their families.
