Today, in the barracks “Mirce Acev” in Prilep, in conditions when the members of the Army are engaged in tasks to support the staff of the Ministry of Interior in dealing with the pandemic of coronavirus, members of the Artillery Battalion, of the 1st Infantry Brigade marked the Day of the Unit.
The ceremony was attended by the Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade Colonel Besnik Emini and the commanders of the subordinate units.
In his address on the occasion of the Day of the Unit, Lieutenant Colonel Gjorgi Vasilevski referred to the history of the unit, the activities carried out in the past period and the tasks and obligations that follow in the coming period.
The Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade, Colonel Besnik Emini, congratulated the Day of the Unit with a wish for personal health to the members of the Artillery Battalion and their families, with the hope that in the near future, Artillery Battalion and the other units of the 1st Infantry Brigade will continue with the normal course of execution of the daily obligations and tasks, and pointed out that the obligations of the unit according to the newly created situation will continue.
Congratulations and incentive measures for the members of the unit were read at the ceremony on the occasion of the Day of the Unit.
