As part of the regular planned activities of the South-Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG), an assessment team led by the SEEBRIG Commander, Brigadier General Bilbil Bitri, conducted an evaluation visit to the Army units declared to this Brigade on the 28 and 29 of October.
Within the framework of the visit, the SEEBRIG team held separate meetings with the State Secretary in the Ministry of Defense, Elizabeta Chupovska Ristova, as well as with the Commander of the Operations Command, Brigadier General Mirche Gjorgoski, and the Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade, General Dejan Chiplakovski. At the meetings the contribution of the Army within SEEBRIG was discussed, as well as its role as the host country of this command.
During the evaluation visit to the Infantry Company / 1st IBn in Kichevo, the team had the opportunity to observe a methodical demonstration exercise on the topic: “Patrolling and Crowd Control” at the barracks “Chede Filiposki-Dame” in Kichevo. During the visit to the Engineers Platoon / Engineers Battalion at the Army Training Area “Krivolak”, members of this unit demonstrated their readiness by conducting an exercise in real conditions on the topic: “Repair of a Damaged Road Section” at the ATA “Krivolak”.
At the end of the visit, the evaluation team emphasized its high assessment of the training and readiness of the Army units declared within SEEBRIG.
