On the 5th of May, 2015 there was a competition for the best cook at the dining facility in “Goce Delchev” military barracks, as a part of the activities planned in order to celebrate the 20th of May, the Day of the Logistics Support Brigade (LSBde).
The military personnel of the 1, 2, 3 Logistics Battalion (LBn) took part in the competition for the best cook, who demonstrated their cooking abilities by preparing food with fish, meat and vegetable side dish.
The competition was evaluated by a team of assessors from the Joint Operations Command (JOC) and (LSBde). The participants of the competition prepared the dishes and at the same time they answered questions about how they prepare food, the quality and quantity of side dishes and main courses, according to the rules for preparing military meals.
Afterwards, the team of assessors tasted the prepared food and evaluated the decoration of the food as well as its quality and by voting chose the best cook in LSBde.
The aim of this competition was to exchange experiences when they implement the new rules for preparing food which is extremely important regardless of the circumstances.
Among the strong competition, the team of the assessors pronounced Lance Corporal Goran Dimovski of the 1st LBn the best cook in the LSBde.
