In order to strengthen and expand the capabilities of winter warfare, the Rangers from the Tactical Reconnaissance Company within the Reconnaissance and Intelligence Battalion (RECONINTBn), conducted advanced winter warfare training.
The training was conducted on the mountain of Golak where the service personnel demonstrated high level of professionalism and perseverance throughout the training.
During winter operations planning there are a few aspects that should be taken into consideration, including packing additional cold weather gear and clothing, and their combined use. In addition, appropriate food and hydration during winter warfare training is extremely important. At the training, the Rangers demonstrated that they are ready for operations in cold weather conditions.
Some of the tasks they presented were the capability to survive in below-zero temperatures by using special winter tactics, procedures and methods as individuals and with teamwork. They demonstrated their capabilities while conducting tactical exercises on given tactical scenarios.
