In the period from 12.05 to 05.14.2014, the members of the 3.Mehanizired Infantry Battalion (3.MIB) from the 1.Mechanized Infantry Brigade composition conducted situational and tactical exercises (STE) on peace operations topics.
The exercises which were conducted at the training areas in the barracks “N.H. Kuzman Josifovski-Pitu” in Tetovo and the training areas in the zone of responsibility of 3.MIB, included already prepared realistic scenarios in which members of 3.MIB solved tasks of providing a base, establishing a checkpoint, conducting patrol, securing a convoy, reaction to improvised explosive devices and more.
By implementing the STE, the members of 3.MIB confirmed their readiness to cope with the challenges imposed by modern means of warfare and have shown that they are willing to bear alongside the armies of the NATO alliance.
