In the period from February 13 to 15, a delegation consisting of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1InfBde), commander Brigadier General Sashko Lafchiski, accompanied by a team from the 2nd Infantry Battalion (2InfBn), within the 1InfBde, and the head of the Office of Defense Cooperation at the US Embassy in the Republic of North Macedonia, visited the units of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment located in Vilseck, Germany.
During the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the facilities for training support, as well as the forms of training that are implemented for multinational formations, with the aim of achieving the interoperability of the units. At the same time, the possibilities for deepening and intensifying the cooperation, as well as using the capacities and resources for the support of our units, were considered.
The delegation attended several firings, including firings from the light armored vehicle (LAV) STRYKER.
The commander of the 1InfBde visited the members of the Army, who are participating in the “KFOR-33” exercise in the “Mission Rehearsal Exercise” section and are training at the training ground in Hohenfels, Germany.
