In accordance with the annual training plan, key personnel from the Operations Command (OC), led by the Commander, Brigadier General Mirche Gjorgoski, conducted a monthly briefing along with a command reconnaissance over the past two days, on July 2 and 3, in the western part of the country.
During the activity, reconnaissance was carried out in the western region of the country, including the areas of Radika, the village of Vishni, Ezerica, the village of Topolchani, and the Monastery of St. Arhangel Mihail. The goal of this reconnaissance was to assess the potential for employing OC units in coordination with other entities of the national defense system by studying the terrain and military-geographical characteristics. The reconnaissance was conducted via land using JLTV military all-terrain vehicles.
At the designated work points, personnel from the first subordinate units and the heads of OC sections briefed participants on the geographical and tactical orientation of the terrain, the possibilities for tactical deployment of units, organization of logistical support, function of liaison, and the implementation of civil-military cooperation.
At the end of the reconnaissance, a tactical-technical presentation was held featuring 105 mm Boran howitzers, followed by a visit to the Monastery of St. Arhangel Mihail in Prilep.
