In the period from 09.02 to 13.03.2015 the 1st Mechanized Infantry Battalion (1MIBde), within the Joint Operations Command (JOC), conducted military training for the second lieutenants, future platoon commanders appointed at the 1st MIBde.
The aim of the training was for the newly assigned second lieutenants to upgrade their practical knowledge. At the beginning of the training the second lieutenants were introduced with the Plan for training and the methods of the specialised training. The training began with initial tests about ARM rules of service, tactical training, English language level and marching skills.
It was divided in 3 parts in February and March and it was conducted at different locations in the area of responsibility of the brigade that is, in the infantry battalions, specialized training at the NBC company, armour and engineer battalion.
The training was carried out by the commanders of the subordinate units and at the same time the second lieutenants were directly involved in and responsible for the training. During the training at the subordinate units the commanders- to- be were familiarized with the area of responsibilities of the brigade, as well as with the locations of the garrisons.
At the end of the training test for establishing the accomplishment of the training was undertaken, which showed higher results compared to the ones from the initial test.
