In the period from 23th to 30th November 2015, at the Army Training Area Krivolak, as final part of the training of newly appointed personnel in the Armour Battalion (ABN) within the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade (1st MIB) live firing with crew in an assault tank was conducted.
This activity completed the process of combat training, intensively conducted during the year, of all newly appointed members in the tank battalion.
The shooting was conducted by the crew of tank T-72 with all disposable armaments. The shooting started with preparation and issuance of an order to attack in the planned area, the tank moved through the area and when spotting the target acted with cannon 125 mm, next with anti aircraft machine gun. Finally the tank crew attacked the other aims frontally with personal weapons.
In order to conduct this complex live firing the crew must be highly professional, trained and well coordinated. All these skills were presented by the members of the tank battalion.
