Newly appointed Head of the U.S. Military Team visits the Command of the 1st Infantry Brigade

On 30 March, 2026, the newly appointed Head of the U.S. Military Team, Lieutenant Colonel Michael Cohen, paid a visit to the Command of the 1^st Infantry Brigade (1^st IBde). Lieutenant Colonel Cohen was welcomed by the Commander of the 1^st IBde, Brigadier General Dejan Chiplakovski, together with part of the key personnel from the Command and Staff.

This visit is his first official visit to the 1^st IBde after assuming the position.

During the visit, Lieutenant Colonel Cohen was briefed on the organizational and formation structure, current tasks and activities, as well as the challenges and plans for the Brigade in the upcoming period.

At the meeting, General Chiplakovski expressed gratitude for the support and contribution of the U.S. Military Team to the Army and the 1^st IBde so far, emphasizing that he expects continuity and further enhancement of cooperation in the future.
