In the period from February 4 to 14, at the Jane Sandanski barracks in Shtip and at the TA Penush, according to the plan and program for reinforced company preparation from the composition of the Second Infantry Battalion (2nd Infantry Battalion), a “Training for Squad and Team Commanders” (Squad Leader Academy) was implemented. The main goal of this training is to prepare the unit to successfully participate in the international exercise “Saber Junction 2025” in September this year, in the Federal Republic of Germany.
The training was conducted by instructors from the 4th Security Forces Assistance Brigade (4th SFAB) of the US Armed Forces.
The members of the 2nd Battalion, theoretically and practically, upgraded their knowledge, and during the training, several topics were implemented, including tactical training at the unit level, team movement techniques, troop leadership procedures, patrolling, contact reaction, and more.
The acquired knowledge, skills and techniques are of great importance for the participants, which will help them in their further professional development and realization of daily work obligations and tasks in the units.
The participants were awarded certificates for their hard work, shown interest, and achieved results.
